COMMUNITY
CASTLE KEEP

Little Free Library is officially open to the public. Take a book/Return a book from Pig Wings & Promises' miniature Medieval fortress on wheels. It rolls out every morning to trade contents, encourage reading, and promote literacy. The global program was a natural extension of my interest in book making. Learn more at www. OFF THE WALL
DANCE LIKE NOBODY'S WATCHING

People keep asking, "How do you stay so slim?" The truth? "I dance my a - - off." Three times a week, I cut a rug doing West Coast Swing. Here's a winning example of what the official California state dance should look like. Robert Royston and Trendlyon Veal took first place for this impromptu Jack 'n' Jill. If I practice another 60 years, I might become as marvelous.

What do you do when you love something so much you can't stop practicing?

Gotta boogie, so I'll see you next time,
